David Richards has been a client of b:web for around 20 years. Over time, his business has evolved significantly. Initially starting as a painter and decorator, David now owns Property Refurbishment Guildford, a company specialising in full property fit-outs with in-house project management across various trades. David needed a new website that would effectively generate leads, reflecting the expanded services and professional expertise his business now offers.
Websites for trades can often be quite bland, templated, and samey. However, given that David’s firm serves affluent Surrey homes, we knew we needed a high-end look that truly reflected the luxury and comfort clients expect. After all, the goal is to deliver a stunning, luxurious home, and the website should embody that standard.
We took our inspiration from high-end brands and interior designs to create something more elegant than the typical trade website. The result is a simple, visually striking site, led by gorgeous images of finished and inspiring rooms. The design is modern and user-friendly, focused on attracting and converting potential clients while showcasing the company’s expertise and success in property refurbishment.
We have high ambitions for this website. It needs to be easily found on Google, inspire readers, and generate enquiries for David and his team to follow up. We focused heavily on the “free estimate” as the main call to action, ensuring it is prominently visible on all pages at all times. On the mobile version, the “free estimate” button remains fixed at the bottom of the screen for easy access.
After conducting in-depth keyword research, we handwrote SEO and user-friendly copy across the entire website, making sure to include a dedicated page for each service and relevant keyword. The website was also coded with local SEO in mind, ensuring it performs well in search engines and attracts the right audience.
