Services: website design, members area, eCommerce, SEO, social media

Lyme Bay Fishermen’s Community Interest Company is a not-for-profit organisation representing fishermen from the four ports of Axmouth, Beer, Lyme Regis, and West Bay.

Website Design

Community centric focus: The website highlights LBFCIC’s commitment to community involvement through sections dedicated to local projects and events, such as the sponsored scavenger hunt.  Additionally, stockists and restaurants serving the fish can use QR codes to direct customers back to the website, where they can learn more about the fish, track when it was caught, by which boat, and even by which crew.

Clear calls to action: Strategically placed buttons, such as “Get Involved” and “Donate,” encourage user engagement and action, essential for the organisation’s mission.

Interactive Fun Pages: The homepage features an engaging embedded video that introduces LBFCIC’s mission. Interactive, animated seafaring elements, designed specifically for children and schools, add a fun and educational dimension to the site, making it both engaging and informative

Social media: Leveraging their existing assets, we created story icons, social media images, and carousels.

eCommerce: eCommerce feature for selling products and accepting donations.

Members area: A robust members’ area gives fishermen the ability to manage their profiles, which are displayed on the Meet the Fleet page. This area also serves as a central hub for distributing important internal documents and resources to members, streamlining communication.
