Chris was destined to be a developer. Even before studying Computing at Ulster University in Belfast, he had already mastered various programming languages on his own. With a career that spans over three decades, Chris is a seasoned and accomplished full stack web developer, boasting extensive experience.
His journey began at Thomson Reuters, where he developed systems to integrate with real-time stock market feeds, empowering traders to make informed investments. This early exposure to high-stakes, mission-critical development set the stage for Chris's future successes.
In 2007, Chris joined his wife, Zoe, as a full-time member of the b:web team. At that time, b:web was a pioneer in Content Management Systems, creating early versions of updatable websites, portals, WYSIWYG applications, and online training platforms.
A quick learner with an eye for detail, Xander is dedicated to supporting the team in meeting client deadlines. Whether it's building web pages, crafting email campaigns, or fine-tuning content, Xander excels at each task with ease. A whiz with WordPress, Xander brings both creativity and technical skill to every project.
In their free time, Xander can often be found creating D&D campaigns and watching reruns of Doctor Who.
With a great sense of humor and a real can-do attitude, Xander is a valuable asset to the b:web team.
Another member of the Ashby family and another former DHSB student, Evan is currently studying Computer Science and Games Development at University.
Evan possesses a unique secret power: a photographic memory, or so the team believes.
Evan excels in building websites, and rigorous testing, ensuring every project meets the highest standards.
Outside of work, Evan is an avid fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and D&D.
