Based in Plymouth and serving the entire South-West of England, Connect Electrical provide electrical services for homes and businesses.
The client was quite hands-off for this project and was happy for us to provide all the styling and structure for the website – all they had to do was then make small text corrections at the end to ensure accuracy.
SEO played an important role in the design of the website, with a goal of appealing equally to domestic and commercial clients. We achieved this by using a lighter blue to highlight content for home users, and a darker blue for business users. We aimed to create an approachable feel that reassured visitors in the client’s reliability and professionalism, with the result that this is definitely one of the more attractive and effective website’s in their business space.
We sourced all of the site images, using carefully curated stock images that we edited to match brand colours. We developed the branding a little with this new colour palette and a lot of custom icons to represent the different services and company USPs.
In addition to the website development, b:web supports Connect Electrical with an ongoing local SEO campaign designed to attract new customers.
