Decisions Made is Clare, a painter and decorator operating in London, Surrey, and across the UK. Clare has been a long-standing client of b:web, for whom we have developed previous websites over the years.
As always, we worked in close collaboration with the client, and agreed early-on that the website needed be only a single page – not always ideal in terms of SEO – but perfect for this small project.
SEO played a significant role in the website design, but our primary goal was to appeal to potential clients to provide an aspirational feel to the site, without it feeling out of reach for the normal person in the street. Unlike larger competitors, we aimed to create a more personal, approachable feel that reassured visitors while maintaining a professional, user-friendly design.
For the hero images, we opted to use carefully curated stock images that we sourced to give a cohesive, on-brand look. The other images were supplied by the client and look great in situ. We developed the branding a little with a new colour palette and pattern, which add to the high-end feeling of the site.
