Ongoing Work with Poolearth Pharmacy

Poolearth Healthcare operates a group of eight pharmacies across Plymouth, Newton Abbot and Torquay. We originally built their website and brand from scratch, unifying what had previously been a collection of separately branded locations under a single, cohesive identity. That project is one we’re very proud of, and Ron Kirk’s feedback at the time reflected how significant the change was for the business.

But building a website is rarely the end of the story. For Poolearth, we’ve been working together ever since on a continuous improvement package that keeps the website evolving alongside the business.

What continuous improvement actually means

The phrase can sound vague, but in practice it means that the website is treated as a live business asset rather than a finished project. As the pharmacies grow, add services, adjust their offering and respond to changes in the market, the website changes with them. Rather than booking a series of one-off jobs, Poolearth has a regular working relationship with us that means updates happen promptly and consistently.

The work we do together covers the full range of things a growing healthcare business needs from its website. That includes the user experience, making sure visitors can find what they’re looking for quickly and book or contact with as few steps as possible. It includes the content across individual pharmacy pages, service descriptions and booking pathways. It includes technical work like structured data, accessibility improvements and making sure the right services are linked to the right booking tools. And it includes keeping pace with the business, adding new services as they launch, removing outdated information and making sure what the website says reflects what the pharmacies actually offer.

A website that reflects a growing business

Healthcare websites carry a particular responsibility. Patients rely on them for accurate, up-to-date information about services, opening hours and how to book. A pharmacy website that lists services which are no longer offered, or that makes it harder than necessary to book an appointment, isn’t just a missed opportunity. It can frustrate patients in a real way at the moment they most need help.

Keeping the Poolearth website accurate, accessible and easy to use across eight locations is an ongoing job. Having a continuous improvement arrangement in place means it gets done, reliably and without the friction of raising separate jobs for every change.

Broader marketing support

Alongside the website work, we’ve also supported Poolearth with social media and paid media planning, helping the group think through how to promote the services it can advertise appropriately, and making sure that marketing activity is joined up with what the website says and does.

If you run a healthcare business and your website has been left to look after itself for a while, we’d be glad to talk through what a more active approach could look like. Find out more about our website design for healthcare or get in touch to start a conversation.
