Epic Play, based in Surrey, set out to become a leading online retailer of children’s outdoor toys, offering a wide range of products from trampolines to electric ride-on cars. Since its launch in 2016, b:web has taken care of every aspect of the business, including the website, branding, and marketing. In effect, we run the business as if it were our own, allowing the owner, Paul, to focus on orders, customer service, and stock management.
Initially developed on Magento 1, the Epic Play website has since been transitioned to WordPress and WooCommerce, with bespoke plugins crafted to handle integrations for stock control and third-party warehouse facilities.
Between major rebuilds, we keep the website up to date with continuous improvements. Most recently, we enhanced the mega menu to accommodate the expanding product range.
We designed and developed a robust, user-friendly eCommerce platform that highlights Epic Play’s extensive selection of outdoor toys. The site was built with flexibility in mind, ensuring it can easily adapt to future updates and modifications as the business continues to grow.
We execute a weekly SEO and content strategy to ensure the website remains free of technical SEO errors and continues to comply with evolving search engine algorithms. This includes technical SEO, implementing new functionality, and providing fresh, optimised copywriting.
In addition, we manage Mailchimp email campaigns, create engaging social media content, and oversee PPC campaigns, digital ads, and print advertising.
We continuously monitor website traffic, analyse competitors, and keep up with design trends to make data-driven updates. A recent example is the homepage redesign, which improved visitor engagement and interaction.
